Cooking chicken on a bottle Baking chicken in the oven on the bottle is an affordable, not time-consuming, but very tasty option of making fragrant and juicy chicken meat. Bottles and cans are used very different: beer, but they are not the most stable and too high for some ovens, cans 0.5 liters and 0.7 liters, but they are applicable only for large chicken ... I want to advise glass jars of coffee or jam about 0.3 liters with a neck about 4-5 cm. Experiment with spices: any peppers, garlic cloves, fragrant herbs, etc. The chicken will turn out ruddy and with a crusty crust without additional blooming with any sauces and oils. The garnish is delicious boiled, fried or baked potatoes, friable rice or other vegetables or cereals, for example, couscous with cheese and aromatic herbs.
Ingredients:- Chicken 1 kg
- A mixture of Italian herbs 3 tsp.
- Salt 1 tsp.
- Step 1 Prepare the chicken and spices.
- Step 2 In the jar on which the chicken will be baked, pour 2/3 volumes of water and place the spices, for example 2 teaspoons of a mixture of Italian herbs with paprika.
- Step 3 Prepare the chicken for baking: wash, dry, drain, if desired, remove excess subcutaneous fat and blood clots from the inside, then evenly salt slightly and sprinkle with spices (1 tsp of Italian herbs). That the wings in the process of baking are not smoothed out and not burned, make incisions in the chicken and stick the tips of the wings in them.

- Step 5 Place the chicken on the bottle in a warm, about 50 ° C oven, set the temperature at 200 ° C and bake until cooked, for 1 hour. To check the readiness in case of doubt, puncture the chicken, in the secreted juice there should be no blood.
