To cook homemade dumplings with strawberries, you do not need to have great culinary skills. The whole secret of this delicious dish in its filling - berries must necessarily be ripe and fragrant. The dough used in our recipe is simple and versatile, so it is suitable for making dumplings with a salted filling.

Wheat flour is combined with refined oil (preferably sunflower) and grind to large flakes. You can do without the addition of salt, because in our example, the dish is sweet.

Pour 50 ml of steep boiling water and first mix it with a spoon / spatula to protect your palms from burns. Do not be afraid to work with a dumpling batter for vareniki because of boiling water. The temperature of the mass quickly falls and after a minute or two, you can quickly start kneading manually.

If necessary, pour the flour, the main thing - the dough should be soft, supple and homogeneous.

First we roll out the elongated blank, then cut it with cross bars of the same size.

Fingers or using a rolling pin pull out round cakes. At the center of the blank, place a freshly cut fresh strawberry cut into small cubes and sprinkle with sugar.

On a note! Berries are preferable to take fresh and ripe, then the vareniki will turn out to be incredibly tasty. But if it's winter outside, and you want to indulge yourself with a summer dish, you can also use frozen strawberries for stuffing.

We hide the filling from berries - we form dumplings in the form of a crescent, and on the edge we create a "pigtail".
