- ripe peaches - 900 Grams
- sugar - 3/4 Glass
- starch - 1 st. a spoon
- softened butter - 1/2 cup
- egg - 1 piece
- vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoonfuls
- lemon peel - 1 teaspoon
- wheat flour - 3/4 Glass
- baking powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
- salt - 1 pinch
1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Peaches are washed, peeled, removed, and cut in half. Cut each half of the peach into 3-4 slices. 2. Mix the sliced peaches, sugar and starch in a large bowl. Let stand, from time to time stirring, until the sugar dissolves, from 5 to 7 minutes. 3. Prepare the dough. Beat the butter and the remaining glass of sugar in a medium bowl with a wooden spoon or electric mixer until smooth. 4. Add the egg, vanilla extract, grated lemon zest and beat together until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. 5. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix. 6. Put the peaches in a baking dish. Spoon the dough over the fruit with a spoon. 7. Bake until the peaches start to boil, and the crust of the dough does not turn golden, 50-55 minutes. Allow the cobler to cool slightly and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
