Today we are preparing pea porridge from dry peas green and yellow. Green peas come complete with spices: coriander, cumin and dried vegetables: onions, carrots, celery, spinach, paprika. We cook the porridge in the multivark. Pea porridge, cooked by all rules, delicious and satisfying.
Ingredients:- Peas dry crushed 180 g
- Water boiled 480 ml
- Salt 2 g
- Mixture of spices for porridge 10 g
- Olive oil 1 tbsp. l.
- Step 1 To cook pea porridge, you need to take peas crushed green with spices and dried vegetables, yellow peas, water, salt, olive oil.
- Step 2 Green peas are already prepared. Yellow peas washed in several waters, pour cold water for at least 3 hours, preferably at night. After the time, drain excess water.
- Step 3 Boil the water. Mix prepared peas with spices and soaked. Mix.
- Step 4 At the bottom of the cup multivark (I have a Panasonic multivarker) pour olive oil.
- Step 5 Pour a pea mixture with spices into the bowl of the multivark.
- Step 6 Pour the peas with hot water.
- Step 7 Add salt to taste.
- Step 8 Put the bowl in the multivark. Close the cover. Turn on cooking mode "Quenching", set the time to 1 hour.
- Step 9 Turn off the multivarker. The porridge is ready. If the peas are solid, and the water evaporates, add 30-50 ml of hot water and increase the quenching time (the availability of porridge depends on the soaking of peas).
- Step 10 Transfer the porridge to a ceramic pan. To cover with a lid. Serve hot or cold for dinner. You can use it as a filling to a pie.
